Printed Text: Isaiah 40:21-31

UNIFYING LESSON PRINCIPLE:

We often offer loyalty to people or systems to sustain and guide our lives. Are these systems able to sustain us? Isaiah declared that God is the absolute power on whom we should depend.

CONCLUDING REFLECTION:

Time and circumstances continue to prove that only God is eternal; finite rulers are no match for Him, regardless of the greatness of the nation. This thought alone is enough to reinforce in the heart of every believer that God will one day bring about a just and moral society.

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, may we never lose hope in you. By your power the world was created and is sustained. We thank you for keeping us as you have kept the universe. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
