Knowing the story behind Donnie McClurkin‘s “I Need You” single gives it a whole new meaning. As powerful as it stands alone, Donnie Mac admitted that the song was birthed out of suicidal thoughts.
Having lost his mother, father, cousins, aunt and niece in a two-year span, McClurkin thought he should be next, he revealed after performing the song on The Real.
Thank God for his change of heart and for part of his support system, including his sister Andrea who’s singing background in the video up top.
