Commander Chanel Dickerson of the Metropolitan Police Department talked with Cheryl Jackson regarding the increase of missing teens in the District.  According to Commander Dickerson the rate of missing teens has not increased, from a year to year comparison the rate of missing teens has actually decreased.  The procedure of how to make the public aware of missing teens has changed.  Which according to Commander Dickerson, has given the illusion that more teens are now missing.  For more information on missing teens log on to www.mpdc.dc.gov.  Here the full interview here:
