Earlier this year, we solicited prayers on behalf of the family of the Godfather of Gospel Music, Rev. Timothy Wright. His son, Danny Wright, had been found unconscious in his van after suffering a stroke. He had been there for many hours before being found and rushed to the hospital. Since then, he made great strides in his recovering. His brother, Pastor David Wright who now pastors his late father’s Brooklyn church and maintains his choirs, even posted a video of Danny dancing at an impromptu birthday celebration held for him at his rehabilitation facility. Yet, today, Pastor David Wright announced to the world through a Facebook post, that his brother had been called home. In his post he said that Danny “fought hard and made a comeback” before his transition, and to “Please continue to pray for the Wright Family and especially his sons Deion and Dylan.” We will definitely do that. No arrangements have been announced.
