Trusting the Unseen – A Motivational Moment

Motivational Moment during Sunday Joy with Ronnette Rollins encourages the listener for whatever they may face during the week, using scripture and practical application. In this Motivational Moment, Reverend Ron Harrison talks about “Trusting the Unseen”.
Sometimes, life feels like we’re driving through a thick fog. We can’t see the road ahead, and we’re just hoping we don’t end up in a ditch. But as 2nd Corinthians 5:7 reminds us, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” Also, Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
It’s so easy to get discouraged when we don’t see immediate progress, just like the pastor in our story who saw nothing but an “empty shell” during their church’s rebuilding project. But here’s the kicker: “Just because you can’t see it doesn’t mean God isn’t working.” Think about Abraham leaving home for a land God would show him, or Peter stepping out of the boat to walk on water! Their actions weren’t logical, but they had God’s assurance and that was enough. So, even when the path isn’t perfectly lit, remember, “we don’t need full visibility, just full trust.” Keep walking by faith and trust God to guide your steps. He’ll bring it to pass!
