Commanders Take Home First Playoff Win In 20 Years

The Washington Commanders have done it again! Breaking records over and over again so of course they took home their first playoff win in 20 years! Also See: Fun Fact On Every NFL Football Team The game was definitely a nail biter up until the last boink off the field goal! There were 3 lead changes and the game was all tied up with 20 each in the 4th with 4:41 left! The final play came down to the kick where Gonzalez, who is 6th kicker this season for the Commanders, make the 3 points needed in the last 3 seconds!   Although the game win came down to one player, this was a team effort lead by Jayden Daniels, Terry McLaurin and Bobby Wagner. Daniels made 2 touchdowns, 268 pass yards and 36 rush yards, McLaurin achieved a Touchdown, 7 rec and 89 yards and Wagner stamped 8 tackles, 0.5 slacks and a fumble rec. The 3 players spoke with Melissa Stark postgame to talk about tonight’s win, the road ahead and the amazing DC fans! When asked how he’s be able to keep the momentum up this season, Daniels shares he “Trust in the Lord, you know there’s nothing I should worry about, put my worries on him and he’ll take care of the rest.”
