Mark has a bachelor’s degree from Howard University and is a licensed insurance professional. Bishop William Andrew Best, Jr., as a Pastor, Leader and Worshipper is a high-impact leader with a proven track record of planning, designing, developing, and implementing innovative processes and system solutions through state-of-the-art methodologies, technology, training, and management. In thirteen years, Bishop Best has successfully grown a grassroots church from zero members to three locations, over 3,000 enrolled worshippers. He had advanced and led three simultaneous ministries in two states along with an international pastoral fellowship. His church has an average of 500 watch care members and an international ministry. Among other things, Bishop Best has managed and directed three S-Corp 503-C Not for Profit with almost a $1M annual budget. Bishop Best is passionate about providing leaders with effective tools for communication. He developed ‘Fit for the Fight’, a 6-month preparatory leadership course using the created curriculum T.R.E.A.D. (training, retraining, effectiveness, accountability & development) a course for leaders and aspiring leaders. His course addresses topics such as Executive Leadership, Relationship Management, Process Improvement and Problem Solving Skills to name a few. Bishop Best is a charismatic leader whose passion for people as an influencer is exemplified through his music, his work in the church, and through his community involvement with organizations such as the Laurel Pregnancy Center, the Chamber of Commerce for Anne Arundel County and the Prison System of Maryland. Bobby D. Hicks was born in Washington DC to Thomas (deceased) and Eloise Hicks.
He has been married to Tyonnie (Ta WAH nee) since 1983. They have 2 adult sons Jeremiah & Aaron, a daughter in love Tanisha and that oh so special granddaughter Nevaeh (Ne Vay). They serve with him in the Ministry.
His life was on a fast track after surrendering to the Lord in 1976. One year later he was given the opportunity to preach his initial sermon. In 1979 he became New Home’s first licensed and ordained minister. As a faithful and loyal minister his responsibilities increased as he was selected to serve as the Assistant Pastor in 1982. In 1984 Rev. Hicks was selected as their fourth and current Pastor.
As the church continued to grow numerically, ministries were added to meet the wholistic needs of God’s people as they live out church’s motto Finding, Feeding & Fencing.
Among the many ministries are the Seniors Ministry that fellowships twice weekly & Dreams and Visions Christian Learning Center that educates 2-4 year olds. Additionally, the Ministry has burned mortgages and purchased property for future growth. Foreign missions expanded to Kenya and Uganda included building a school with a feeding program. Also, Pastors were fully supported to perpetuate the work of the Kingdom

Ronnette Rollins, recording artist, radio personality, an accomplished vocalist, pianist, songwriter, piano instructor, and vocal coach, has emerged as one of the most sought-after pianists, performers and vocal coaches in the Washington Metropolitan area. Ronnette is also a member of the Grammy Award Recording Academy, Washington, D.C. Chapter, the premier outlet for honoring achievements in the recording arts and supporting the music community.
Ronnette began performing as a singer and musician with Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee, Shirley Ables & The Joy Gospel Singers at the age of 11. She has recorded with numerous artists including Vicki Yohe, Pastor Shirley Caesar, and Dorothy Norwood. In 2012, after experiencing much success as a vocalist with Stellar Award-winning groups Isaiah D. Thomas & Elements of Praise and Mike McCoy & Voices United, Ronnette stepped out as a solo artist. She has been nominated for several local Christian Music Awards and in July 2015, won “Female Artist of the Year” at the Gospel Blue M.I.C. Achievement Awards.
Ronnette received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education from Towson University, Towson, Maryland and taught music in the Prince George’s County Public School system. Adding to her multi-faceted talents, Ronnette is also a radio host with Radio One DC’s Praise 104.1 FM and WYCB 1340 AM. You can hear her hosting “Sunday Joy” on Praise 104.1FM Sundays from 12pm-4pm. She also provides private vocal and piano instruction. The songstress has successfully headlined sold-out performances at the historic Blues Alley in Washington, D.C., and at the Gospel en Karukera Festival 2017 in the Guadeloupe Islands. Ronnette has traveled the world touring and performing with Gospel greats including Shirley Ables & The Joy Gospel Singers and Mike McCoy & Voices United. She has made guest appearances on several Gospel television networks shows, including “Rejoice in the Word” and “I Will Bless the Lord at All Times.”
Ronnette made her theater debut with Mosaic Theater Company DC as a pianist in “Marie and Rosetta” at Washington D.C.’s Atlas Theater in August & September 2018. On September 7, 2018, Ronnette released her new single, “ALWAYS THERE”. This is her follow-up single to her debut project entitled, “JOURNEY”.
