Loneliness is not necessarily being alone. We may be alone for long periods without feeling at all lonely. On the other hand we may feel lonely in a familiar setting without really understanding why.
Set aside a moment and allow yourself to feel this emotion.
Next place your concern prayer.
Heavenly Father, at times I feel that You have forgotten about me. When I most need You, I cannot reach You. Yet I do believe that you are present in my distressing loneliness. Teach me to find You even in my darkest times. In the name of Jesus, the Lord. Amen.
