UPDATED: 12:22pm: Former WDBJ reporter Bryce Williams, the apparent shooter in the shooting of Alison Parker and Adam Ward turns the gun on himself after police confronted him on Interstate 66 in Virginia.


UPDATED 11:46am: Authorities have identified a suspect, a former WDBJ reporter Bryce Williams.  Williams took to twitter to tell the world he filmed the shooting as well as other tweets accusing Alison Parker of making racist comments, and blaming Adam Ward for calling HR on him while he was employed.


UPDATED 10:26am: Police have identified a man they believe to be the shooter. No names have been released at this time, but authorities have a name and a license plate.


9:00AM: A live TV interview turns violently wrong as a reporter and photographer for Virginia’s WDBJ were shot and killed Wednesday morning.

Reporter Alison Parker and photographer Adam Ward were conducting a live interview at Bridgewater Plaza in Moneta, VA as gunshot fired.

There is video surfacing on social media of the shooting.
