UNIFYING LESSON PRINCIPLE:

People want to live lives of gratitude. How can the express their thankfulness properly? God welcomes the offerings of those who give with generous and cheerful hearts.

CONCLUDING REFLECTION:

The way we give or do not give to God provides insight into the spiritual condition of our hearts and spirits. It is a healthy exercise for us to periodically explore our attitudes and actions regarding giving. Giving actually helps us to be better stewards of our resources. Count your blessings and you will discover that you have plenty to share with others.

PRAYER:

LORD, thank you for blessing us in more ways than we deserve. Keep us focused on your kingdom and our purpose so that we can remember that it is better to give than to receive.  In Jesus’ name we pray.  Amen.
