Oprah Winfrey welcomes mega-pastor, author Joel Osteento Master Class. The Master Class is an unprecedented look into the minds of true modern masters, handpicked by Oprah Winfrey for their unique impact on the world.The series premiered on the network’s first day, January 1, 2011 with rapper and songwriter Jay-Z.
Osteen drew 1.6 million total viewers to OWN when he appeared on “Oprah:The Next Chapter”, which puts it as the most-watched telecast on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Lakewood Church, a non-denominational evangelical Christian mega-church, located in Houston, Texas, and headed by Osteen, is the largest congregation in the country averaging over 40,000 attendees per week. Osteen, author of numerous books on spirituality and whose services are broadcast worldwide.
In a revealing and candid interview earlier this year with Oprah, Pastor Osteen opens up about the impact of his father’s death and explains how he reluctantly became a preacher in his late 30s. Plus, the pastor responds to critics who say his sermons focus too much on material success. Victoria, Pastor Osteen’s wife and co-pastor at Lakewood Church, joins the conversation and reveals the secrets of their 25-year marriage.
