Cheryl Healthy

This year marks 25 years in radio for me and I’ve decided I want to start my journey by living clean.  So, today I started JJ Smith’s 10 Day Green Smoothie Cleanse.  I’m doing the modified cleanse which consist of two green smoothies (one for breakfast and one for lunch), with one healthy meal for dinner, snack, and water/tea.  The only healthy meal a day may consist of a salad, sauteed veggies, fish or chicken (grilled or baked).  Avoid white sugar, meat, milk, cheese, alcohol, coffee, sodas, processed foods, fried foods and refined carbs during the entire ten days.

Keep Bowels Moving:  Perform one of the two methods for colon cleansing to ensure you have one to three bowel movements per day while detoxing.  It is absolutely imperative that your bowels move toxins out of your system while cleansing.  If you haven’t had a bowel movement in over 24 hours, there are two methods to get your bowels moving.

Method 1:  Use the saltwater flush (SWF), which involves drinking un-iodized sea salt with water.  To tolerate the taste, you can drink two teaspoons of sea salt in eight ounces of water to make it go down and then follow immediately with three more 8-ounce glasses of water.  Do this first thing in the morning while you have an empty stomach, and you will have several bowel movements within thirty minutes to an hour.

Method 2:  One product that really works wonders at getting at the old fecal matter in your colon is Mag07.  Take three to four pills at bedtime and you can look forward to a heavy bowel movement in the morning.

Day #5 Berry Peach

2 handfuls kale

1 handful spinach

2 cups of water

2 apples (cored & quartered)

1 1/2 cups frozen peaches

1 1/2 cups frozen mixed berries

2 tablespoons ground flax seeds

1 scoop of vanilla protein

2 packets of stevia (if you desire more sweetness)

Place leafy greens and water into blender and blend until mixture is green juice like consistency.  Stop blender and add remaining ingredients.  Blend until creamy.

Spiritual thought:  I Corinthians 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

Love, Your First Priority:  Where does love fit on your list of priorities? Jesus said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you” (John 13:34 NKJV) It seems to me that Jesus was saying love is the main thing on which we should concentrate.

Love should be number one on our spiritual priority list.  We should study love, and develop the fruit of love, and develop the fruit of love by practicing loving others.  God is love, so when we walk in His love we abide in Him.
