UNIFYING LESSON PRINCIPLE:
We live in a world full of divisions, hatred, trouble, and chaos. Will we ever experience harmony? Isaiah’s prophecy revealed that the sovereign God will bring about a world of peace.
The writings of Isaiah speak to the church in this generation. First, we are reminded that God is always renewing hope and bringing His people back into relationship with Him. Second, believers should never feel hopeless. God is able to bring life out of the presence of death. Third, our future is always in the hand of God. Fourth, in the midst of our worst crisis, God is able to give peace that stabilizes the heart and mind.
Gracious Heavenly Father, grant your servants the will to trust you when all around us is hopelessness and despair. May we never waver in our faith, knowing that whatever you have willed, it shall come to pass. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
