As I continue to share the stories of breast cancer survivors, I introduce you to Pastor Freda Thorpe. For many gospel music lovers, perhaps no introduction is needed. She was a member of the popular gospel music group, Ministree, is an author and popular women’s conference speaker, and is currently Overseer and Pastor or a church in Pennsylvania. She spoke with me and shared her story of diagnosis and treatment in her fight against breast cancer, while in the midst of dealing with abuse, divorce, and the loss of a child. Freda Thorpe is yet so alive.
