Kanye West brought his Sunday Service to HU’s homecoming this morning at 8am and there was a sea of people gathering and participating in praise. I saw it on the news this morning and I was moved to see so many people especially our young people (millennials) representing for Christ. This is on the heels of his upcoming documentary-album “Jesus is King”: A Kanye West Experience. Now you know where there is Kanye, there is criticism & pushback on his appearance and what he is pursuing. If I could remove myself from all the controversy, criticism and personal feelings, what I see is a man being used by Christ to bring people to the kingdom. That is always first and foremost.
