Each stanza is concluded with the statement “For His mercy endureth forever.” This repetition serves as a lesson to us that God’s mercy flows from a well that never runs dry. Remembering and giving thanks for all He has done for us in the past, gives us hope for tomorrow and a reason to praise and worship today.
So let’s give thanks to God for who He is and for all He has done. For His mercy truly endureth forever! God’s goodness is all around us. Practice gratitude daily.
