A historic Black cemetery in Maryland is at the center of a development dispute, first after it was turned into an apartment complex parking lot and currently due to a property firm that may be looking to exploit the grounds even further.

The strong Black women of the DC Police Department hit back against workplace harassment by filing a class action lawsuit against MPDC, citing racial and sexual discrimination that created hostility and led to a culture of intimidation over the years.

The policy affects about 170,000 students across the system’s 15 institutions including tens of thousands of faculty and staff.

This year’s game was the 96th meeting between the two HUs; Howard and Hampton but it’s the first with the new name, “Truth and Service Classic.”

While this isn’t the first attempt to reframe the attack on the capitol as something other than insurrection, disregarding the low turnout event could be a mistake.
